A random notes page and calendar of events all in one? Have you lost your mind?
Well, yes, I have lost my mind but it has nothing to do with the format of this page. I have decided to throw these two virtually unrelated topics onto the same page because a lot of the random notes will involve events listed on the calendar. Makes sense, no? If you are angered by this action, tough. ;)

Random Thoughts
April 20: I am in love with life. The act of breathing is such a privilege. I love to write. I love to read. I love to love.
March 7: How great is Black Sabbath? The music they wrote was insane at the time of its initial release. Take "Sabotage" for instance. It is one of the heaviest albums I have ever heard, and it was relased in 1975! Now, I'm no heavy metal fan (I can't stand damn near all of it), but Black Sabbath is great. They did it first (Led Zeppelin released their first album a year before BS, but BS was always heavier), and they did it best.
